Economics Teacher

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of economic theory, real-world applications, and analytical skills. The role involves inspiring students to think critically about local and global economic issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Economics lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Teach topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics
• Design and assess assignments, tests, and exams
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
• Prepare students for external examinations (if applicable)
• Integrate current economic events and case studies into lessons
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic performance
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development
• Support extracurricular activities such as economics clubs or competitions

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Teaching experience in Economics
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of economic principles
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• Teaching certification/license (as required by local regulations)
