Plan and deliver instruction in line with curriculum goals and departmental expectations, maintaining a safe, student-centered learning environment.

Develop and maintain semester syllabi, unit plans, and assessment rubrics, ensuring students understand assessment criteria and expectations.

Apply appropriate teaching strategies and resources to meet students’ age, learning needs, and individual characteristics.

Monitor student progress toward learning goals and respond promptly when challenges arise.

Promote student motivation and engagement; communicate concerns to relevant staff (homeroom teacher, Head of Department, parents, etc.) when needed.

Design and administer assessments (diagnostic, formative, summative), analyze results, provide timely feedback, and plan follow-up learning activities.

Maintain student work and assessment records in accordance with school policies.

Plan and implement educational projects, including Personal Projects and project-based learning experiences that build creative problem-solving skills.

Provide additional academic support or extra classes for students when necessary.

Recommend and organize supplementary materials (books, literature, digital resources) as needed.

Plan and deliver extracurricular activities that support the syllabus and enrich student learning.

Prepare reports for parent-teacher conferences and participate in conferences; discuss academic progress with parents when required.

Maintain the electronic journal: upload homework, take attendance, record grades, and provide comments and daily student reports.

Regularly update the Head of Department on curriculum progress and implementation.

Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and improve student learning outcomes.

Participate actively in departmental work, professional development, and innovative teaching practices.

Compile and maintain comprehensive subject portfolios.

Follow all school policies, procedures, and regulations.

Complete other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of the role.

Identify, select, and adapt instructional methods/materials for diverse learners, including students with varying learning styles and special needs.

Support curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives.
